Mersey Rivers Trust  – Important Message For Our Volunteers

Coronavirus Prevention Measures

In light of the latest UK government advice on Coronavirus prevention, the Mersey Rivers Trust has unfortunately had to take the decision to temporarily suspend all of our volunteer events until further notice.   This includes suspending the great work that our volunteer River Guardians carry out across the Mersey catchment collecting and analysing river samples. 

We will continue to keep the situation under review each week.  We will continue to keep all of our volunteers updated as the situation develops. 

As soon as we possibly can, we will return with a programme of volunteer events and restart the River Guardians activities.   In the meantime, our staff will continue to plan out events for the rest of the year so that these are ready to implement as soon as we can.   Our staff will be continuing to deliver as many of our projects as possible within the constraints imposed by corona virus prevention measures.  

Thank you for all your help and fantastic support you have given so far this year which is greatly appreciated.  We look forward to seeing you all as soon as possible.
