The Mersey Rivers Trust hosted the CaBA Urban Water Management Workshop in Manchester on Monday 21st May 2018.

The event was held at the Mechanics Institute in central Manchester and had an attendance of over 60 delegates from a wide variety of organisations.

The day began with an introductory talk from our Chair, Prof. Peter Batey, who gave a background of the Mersey Rivers Trust and the urban challenges we face. Many informative and engaging presentations were delivered from members of various organisations including The Rivers Trusts, Salford City Council, APEM and CIRIA. Regular breaks and Q&A sessions allowed audience members to network and find out more about each organisation and the work they had done.

Overall the day was a great success! We thank all the speakers for their insightful presentations and the audience members for their participation. We hope to see everyone again next year for another Urban Workshop.
