Teggs Nose Country Park

We will be working in partnership with the Bollin Valley Partnership Rangers at Tegg's Nose to control Bracken in this valuable habitat. Work will include use of hand tools, full training and equipment will be provided.

Bring lunch and your own work gloves if you have them, and please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Long trousers, long sleeves, and layers are recommended. The session is outdoors so make sure you have waterproofs and sun protection as needed. Please also make sure you bring enough water and food to keep you going throughout the day.

  • We finish the week with a Bioblitz event on the River Bollin at The Carrs Park in Wilmslow on Saturday 6 July
